The location, room amenities, hospitality & food everything was awesome. Special mention to Mr.Gopal Negi, Mr. Prakash and Mr. Sushil Negi who had taken every possible care to make our vacation memorable. Food freshly cooked by Mr. Prakash was homely and healthy. Cleanliness, service & personal touch in every dealing will remain forever in our memory. We always felt as if we were personal guests of Mr. Negi & Mr Praksah. Places to visit around the Resort
At an altitude of 4300 metres and 6 kms from the Kunzum Pass in Lahaul & Spiti district that connects Spiti Chander Tal Lake and Lahaul areas. Surrounded by snow covered mountains this deep blue-water lake has a circumference of 2.5 kms This is the source of the river Chandra.

Kunzum pass located at 4590 m altitude 76 kms away from Kaza. It is the gateway to Spiti from Kulu & Lahaul. After crossing Rohtang pass and driving 20kms, one has to turn right from Gramphoo. While going to this pass, the panoramic view of Bara-Sigri glacier (second longest glacier in the world) is enthrilling and inspiring. There is a temple at the top of this pass dedicated to goddess Durga. The view from the top is breathtaking. On one side is the Spiti valley and to the other are numerous Chandra-Bhaga range peaks.

It is situated near the confluence of Losar and Peeno streams at height of 4080 m above sea level. this village is worth a visit being the first big village and because of its Location. Yak and horse riding are other charms to add to its beauty and unique experience.

Tabo Monastery is situated in the village of Tabo, in the secluded Spiti valley of the state Himachal Pradesh, India. Tabo Monastery was founded in 996AD. With its original decoration and art images intact, it is considered to be the oldest continuously functioning Buddhist monastery in India and the Himalayas. The unique beauty of its art and its pivotal historical role in the transmission of Indo-Tibetan Buddhism and culture in the 10th and 11th century makes Tabo Monastery an historically significant site. Within the ancient monastery's compound are nine temples built between the late 10th and the 17th century and numerous stupas.

It is locally known as Khyipur, one of the highest villages in the world at an altitude of 4205 m above sea level in a narrow valley surrounded by mountains from all sides. Gette, at a short distance away from Kaza, is the highest village in the world at a height of 4270 m.

It is located on top of a hill at an altitude of 4,116 meters near kaza. Close by the Gompa Spiti River makes way towards Kinnaur. It is the biggest monastery of Spiti Valley and a religious training centre for Lamas. The walls of the monastery are covered by paintings and murals. It is an outstanding example of the monastic architecture, which developed during the 14th century. Key monastery has a collection of ancient murals and books of high aesthetic value and it enshrines Buddha images and idols, in the position of Dhyana. It celebrated its 1000th year in 2000.

It is situated at 25 kms from Kaza at an elevation of 3,894 m. east of Kaza. The Monastery serves eastern part of central Spiti, in the Spiti Valley between the towns of Kaza and Tabo. Dhankar monastery was built as a fort monastery on the Central Tibetan pattern. There is a small museum in the gompa. Dhankar is approachable by small vehicles that branches off for Dhankar 7 kms from the main Kaza-Samdu road at 24 kms from Kaza. It was the erstwhile capital of Spiti Kingdom. On top of a hill there is a fort which used to be the prison in olden times. The monastery has relics in the shape of paintings and sculptures. Dhankar Lake presents a unique view to the visitors.

This is a very beautiful village well known for mummy of a Buddhist monk. It is around 11 kms from Sumdo while coming from Kinnaur and 11 kms from Hurling while coming from Kaza.
